Dr Cindy Ahearn is a skilled educator and curriculum specialist. She holds education degrees including a research MA and a PhD in Curriculum Studies from The University of Melbourne.
Her Leadership positions in Curriculum and Teaching include Australian education policy and practice; School Data and Assessment; Curriculum theory (Research methodologies and practices in education); Education policy development and implementation in education learning communities. She leads theoretical and empirical projects related to knowledge building, learning identities, inequalities and education policy and practice in Australia.
Her area of research expertise is curriculum framework development and evidence-based research projects in schools on topics such as student inhabitation of curriculum, linking learning spaces to pedagogy, improving the learning outcomes and teacher change projects and Indigenous trans-disciplinary curriculum.
