Staff Bio

Cheryl is a Yuet/Baladong woman from Noongar country of the south-west of Western Australia. Cheryl graduated with a bachelor of Health Science and Masters in Public Health and has worked in universities for the past 15 years. Cheryl’s teaching experiences include Indigenous health, health policy, Australian Indigenous history, culture, families, mental health, Aboriginal health sector and health in an Indigenous context. Cheryl is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people so we can have a quality of life equal to that of other Australians.
