Margo Collins is the Program Manager for the Leaders in Indigenous Medical Education (LIME) Network. She works with the other members of the LIME Team to plan, implement and evaluate strategies to ensure the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning of Indigenous health in medical education and curricula.

Margo previously worked in the Medical Education Unit, Melbourne Medical School, as a Project Officer (Clinical Assessment).  In this role she was responsible for co-ordinating the Simulated Patient Program, which included an Indigenous Simulated Patient Program. This program was designed to teach and assess the communication skills of medical students. Margo also worked on the development and implementation of the Multi Mini Interview, which is now a component of the selection process for all prospective medical students at the University of Melbourne.  

Margo holds a BA (Melb), Grad Dip (Counselling) and is currently undertaking her Masters in Applied Social Sciences.

Erin Nicholls is the Event Project Officer for the Leaders in Indigenous Medical Education (LIME) Network. She will be responsible for the coordination of the LIME Connection Conferences.

Erin grew up in country Victoria and is of Torres Strait Islander descent. Erin has completed studies in Event Management & Tourism. Prior to joining LIME, she worked in finance and has previously worked in the tourism and hospitality industries both in Australia and overseas.

Caitlin Ryan is a Project Officer for the Medical Deans of Australia and New Zealand Leaders in Indigenous Medical Education (LIME) Network Project. This position is responsible for working with other members of the LIME team to develop and consolidate the LIME Network, develop the project website, and coordinate the LIME Connection IV Conference to be held in November 2011.

Caitlin has a Masters of International Development from RMIT University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. Prior to joining the Centre, Caitlin has worked in various community development roles, including coordination of youth advocacy and women’s leadership projects with International Women’s Development Agency.

 

 

Alice Wilkin

Alice Wilkin is a Research Assistant for the Medical Deans of Australia and New Zealand Leaders in Indigenous Medical Education (LIME) Network Project. This position is responsible for working with other members of the LIME team and assisting with the implementation of a variety of projects including updating the website, developing and extending the members network, and assisting with the creation of literature and survey tools for evaluation and dissemination.

Alice has previously worked with the Cooperative Research Centre for Aboriginal Health and for the last two years has worked as a health research and evaluator.  Alice has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Health Sciences (hons) and is currently undertaking a PhD in public health.
